[Q] Why do all the DataScribes I reset
using the Transporter have the incorrect Date and/or time?
[A] Make certain that the Transporter's clock has been set by your
PC. Also make sure that you set your PC's clock to the current time.
[Q] Why does my Transporter respond with "Clock Not Set" when I try
to reset a DataScribe?
[A] If the Transporter's battery has been replaced, you will need
to set the Transporter clock using your PC. This can be done by attaching
the Transporter to your PC, selecting Link to Computer from the Transporter
menu and clicking Logger from within WinDataSoft.
[Q] How many DataScribes can my Transporter store?
[A] The Transporter can store upto 32 DataScribes. If you need to
make room in the Transporter, you can select Delete Files from the Transporter
menu. NOTE: All your data files will be erased.
[Q] Why do I sometimes get old data files when downloading data from
the Transporter?
[A] The latest files stored in the Transporter are always displayed
at the bottem of the DataScribe Selection dialog in WinDataSoft. Looking
at the selection dialog, you may notice older version of your data files
futher up in the list. It is a good idea to delete the files stored in the
Transporter after they have been retrieved by WinDataSoft. This not only
makes more room in the Transporter, but also reduces the chance of retrieving
an old data file.
